Extinction Rebellion: How might ministers win over the protesters?

SUMMARY:

This article talks about theh environment from nowadays. A lot of people are doing protests to try to change our climate. Ministers and politicians aren't doing anything to change our climate and people is trying to change it because they have the power.

OPINION ESSAY:

In my opinion I agree these people who protest to change the climate because I think in a few years if we continue this way the atmosphere will disapear by the gases of the environment. I always try to recycle because I think if a lot of people recycle we can change the environment together. 

There are people who have a weekly recycling schedule but this one is still very strict and I think if they don't recycle well, the government increases their price of VAT.

A FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT

This tournament was founded in 1992 with the Olympics of Barcelona. I heard of it when I was young and my father was going to see the finals of the tournament, called MIC (Mediterranean International Cup). I was also interested because of the value of the first place. They give you a gold medal and you appear on the newspapers. It's so exciting, but you have to work so hard to achieve the first place.

The thinkk I liked most is that every team could compete until the end without any help of the creators and every team could win the title. In the first part of the turnament there are groups of four and they were made random and I think that's the farest think. 

We had to play the matches of 50 minutes only! Each part was 25 minutes long. You didn't have time to score a goal in that period. Another thing I didn't like was the agression of the other teams because they were stronger than us but they didn't have the same technique. I think the solution should be to do more strict rules and make longer parts.

I think should be a good idea to decide which teamps go to the tournament by looking how far they've arrived in their league and the best ones can participate.

Skills and interests: 
I have excel·lent skills in learning quickly and I have skills in working with technology. My ideal future should be working in a good business. My father is the boss of my family's business but I know I have to work a lot to arrive where he is.

MY TRIP TO ITALY

Personally, I was so excited to go to Italy with my class because it was the first time to travel with my classmates. This time was very special because we took a plane in Girona's airport.

We met on Monday 11 of March in the school, at 5:45. We took a bus road to Girona's airport, where we were going to take a plane to Pisa's airport. The duration of the plane was approximately 1 hour and a half. When we arrived I got scared because my luggage was the last to leave the plane and I thought I'd lost it. Then we took another bus to go to the entrance of the city of Pisa because we couldn't go on the bus to the city centre, so a small train left us in the city centre. We ate in the main square with views to the Pisa tower and the cathedral. 

In the morning of the second day we visited Florence. In the morining we went to the Uffizi galeries, where the David of Michel Angel is exposed. It was really shocking because it was enormous. There were beautiful paintings too. Then we had a little bit of free time where we went shopping. We met near the cathedral of Santa Maria dei Fiore and we walked up to the top of the cupola. It was very emotive because it was just like it was constructed and we could go to the top. When we went back down we visited the baptisteri. We went lunch at the same restaurant of the other days in Florence.

The third day we travelled to Verona, a very beautiful city. We took a train from Florence to Verona in the afternoon and we could relax or sleep a little bit there. When we arrived to our destination we left our luggage in the hotel and we had time to go for a walk aroud the city. After we went to eat pizza at one restaurant situated in the main square.

The fourth day was the one that we had to get up earliest, at 7 o'clock we had to be eating breakfast. We were going to take a train to Venice. We stayed all the day there, walking a lot and visiting the best places there. We also visited a place where they were treating the glass.
We could go to lunch with our friends, without the teachers. We wento to eat to a restaurant near the main river, with a spectacular views.

The last day we visited the Arena in Verona, an old amphitheater. We took the bus and we went to the Lago de Garda and Sirmione. That was our last stop in the trip. We didn't want to leave because we were having a great time there. We visited the city and we went back to the bus to go to the Bergamo airport. We were returning home. The fly was a little bit uncomfortable because of the seats but it was so short too. We arrived at Barcelona airport and we had to take another bus to go to our town, Banyoles. We arrived home at 3 a.m.

They build a pitch in the midle of the river with old woods and they can practise there.

What attitudes do they show?
In the first match they show a positive attitude because they win, but in the second half of the semifinals they gave up because it was raining and their boots were fitted of water. Then they change of attitude and take off their boots to play more comfortable.

My biggest dream is to travel to Los Angeles because it's very beautiful and has a lot of spectacular places.

I have a challenge that is that I'm not older than 18 and I can't travel on my own so my parents have to agree with me.

My brothers have to agree with me too because I suppose they're going to travel with us.

I found a solution that is convincing my parents to travel with me to Los Angeles.

What are your required attitMy required attitude is to get good marks at school and help my parents in home tasks.

I also have to go to walk the dog, but that's not an attitude I require to have because I love him and I go to walk him because I want.

In conclusion, if I want to go to Los Angeles I have to convince my family or wait since I have 18 years old.

Making suggestions, expressing certainty and expressing doubt

Marc: We could consider hosting a community blog a good idea because we could update everything we do when we meet. We could show them how our community works and how we organize.

I'd be great if we could create an information center for visitors to the area because they could know a little bit more about it.

What about setting up a community library? It would be a great idea because reading is very good for learning.

There's no doubt we're going to set up a community library because we all think its better than reading in a computer. It is also a good way to communicate with other people and discuss about books and magazines and you can discover new writers too.

I'm not really sure that host a community blog is a good idea because we need a lot of time to organize and share thinks on it and we don't have it.

LAST WEEKEND

Last weekend I went to Girona.

On saturday I went to my grandparent's house in Vilabrareix because its a small town near Girona. 

We went to eat in a restaurant called "konig". 

On Sunday we went all the day to Portaventura, Tarragona.There we had a lot of fun and we enjoyed it a lot. When I got home I started doing homework because I hadn't done them before! I finished them quickly and I went to sleep.

She's very tall and she has blond hair and brown eyes. She's very beautiful and clever. She likes to do all king of sport but her favourite one is tennis. She plays tennis every day!

MY FAVOURITE RELATIVE

My favourite relative is my aunt. She's called Monica and she's my mother's sister. She's 5 years younger than my mother.
She's actually living in Palamós. She plays twice a week and she's married. She's very ambicious and I like it.

We don't welt very often, only in family meetings or in special cases as my birthday or her's. She's special because she's always there when I need it.

She usually takes me to skii in Andorra. There we go skiing and shopping. That's why I get on well with ger.

We are holding some interesting activities. The funniest one is one activity where you can practise all kinds of football skills and strikes with a very good goalkeeper. If you are interested in other activities, you can practise them too.

Meet on the football pitch next to the toys shop every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at 10 a.m.

DIFFERENT EVENTS

We’re excited to announce that the following day we’ll celebrate an activity for the old members. The activity consists in a tournament with 9 teams and a big award.

The idea for the new members is to do an especial event for them. The’ll can join a special day with the presentation of the president and a different activity to know each other better. This activity will be celebrated on 21st of April on the same football pitch as the training sessions.

This Christmas we’re celebrating a new event for everyone!

All members are invited to join a special week in a house next to the mountains. There we’ll do a lot of activities related to football too. We’ll sleep in a house with berths and every day we’ll get up at 7 a.m. You only have to talk with the president of the club and he’ll give you a paper where you can find all the information.

Hi John,

All good? I am writing an article about my friends. What have you done recently? I went to NY last week.

When I went there I leasrned some values such as how live poor people and why a lot of people use the public transport. I travelled with the public transport too because we didn’t want to buy a taxi.

When I saw a lot of homeless in the street I started thinking how they’ve finished there and I thought they were alcohol adicts because they were drinking every moment.

I didn’t understand why they always have pets in the street, because the dogs can’t have a walk or run free.

I’ve learned to empathy homeless and I felt so good for helping them.

MY LAST SUMMER

Hi my name is Marc and now I'm going to explain you my last summer.

First of all I'm going to talk about my trip to England with my friends. There I studied English in the mornings and in the afternoons we visited the place.

After that I went to Swizertland with the scouts. There I met a lot of scouts of other places and I had a great time playing with my friends. We went to some spectacular places and we went hiking.

Finally I did a trip with my family because we like to travel together to have a good family time.
We went to Normandy. There we ate a lot of fish and we walked a lot. We visited all the cities near Normandy and we found some friends from Banyoles. We went to visit the Mont Saint-Michelle too. It's very beautiful.
